Word Replacer III ("the Extension") is a browser extension that lets users define find-and-replace rules and automatically applies them to text on web pages they visit.
The Extension does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data, browsing history, or page content to us or any third party.
All replacement rules, settings, and preferences you create are stored locally on your device using the browser's storage API. This data never leaves your browser unless you explicitly use the "Share list" feature described below.
If you choose to use the "Share list" feature, the Extension will:
# (a URL fragment, which is never sent to any server - it stays entirely within your browser).tinyurl.com).This only happens when you actively click "Share list." No data is sent automatically or in the background. The shared data contains only the find/replace rules you chose to include — never your browsing activity or any content from pages you visit.
We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties. The only outbound request the Extension makes is the optional call to TinyURL described above, triggered solely by explicit user action. No separate server of ours is involved — the shared data lives entirely inside the link itself.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
